Acupuncture

While acupuncture appointments focus on the use of acupuncture in the treatment of disorders, they also include the use of other Chinese Medical modalities when appropriate. These modalities include therapies such as Herbs, Tuina, cupping, Gua Sha, and moxibustion. Initial appointments are generally an hour and a half long and include history taking, basic diagnostics and treatment. Follow ups are roughly one hour and consist mainly of treatment.

Smoking Cessation

Acupuncture can be very helpful for people trying to quit smoking. Smoking cessation appointments are shorter and cheaper than general acupuncture appointments because a specific smoking cessation protocol can be used. Initial smoking cessation appointments are thirty minutes long and follow-ups are fifteen.

Tuina

Tuina is a kind of massage or bodywork based on the principles of Chinese Medicine. It can be useful for a wide variety of health problems but is especially useful for orthopedic conditions. Tuina appointments are about a half hour long.
